Are you ready rhymers?
World Nursery Rhyme Week 2024
This exciting initiative was launched in 2013 to promote the importance of nursery rhymes in early childhood with a particular focus on how nursery rhymes boost early language and literacy skills.
We have a number of activities planned throughout the week to encourage singing, movement and imagination using a range of percussion instruments, movement props and puppet play.
In celebration for this you can find us for the whole of November at the Richmond Tweed Regional Library!!
Join us on a musical adventure!!
Each month introduces you to a new musical topic. Picture a room full of props, music, LED lights, parachute play and more. From sailing the seas like a pirate to teddy bear picnics, windy weather days or clibing aboard a rocket and blasting off to space.
Whatever the theme, each week brings a different movement props, instruments and songs all carefully planned to inspire creativity, ignite wonder and enhance all the senses!
It also means our sessions are always engaging and never the same but dont worry, we follow the same structure so you'll always know what to expect.
Bop It Tots is a must do with a little one.
My son and I started going when he was 8mo old, he's almost 2 now and we still absolutely love our weekly music bop it tots sessions. Miss Jess creates such a fun and creative environment, and all little ones are included. There is something for everyone! It's a great learning experience for the children, and as a parent I enjoy the weekly visits too!
