You must have a super smiley face that makes every child feel special and be totally comfortable at being a little bit silly from time to time! The ability to sing in tune is not a requirement, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is essential!

Join our team

Bop It Tots runs Music, Movement and Sensory Play Sessions in venues across Northern NSW and the Gold Coast, birthday parties and an incursion program in childcare centres.  We are looking for to recruit a new Music and Play Facilitator to join our team and deliver our much loved program! You MUST be energetic, enthusiastic, organised and most of all have a passion for the development of babies and toddlers.

Ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
  • Understand basic principles of childhood development and have a natural love for working with babies and toddlers
  • Creative, positive, and energetic disposition
  • Proficient with technology, including audio-visual devices
  • Patient, kind and empathetic
  • Punctual, organised and can think on your feet
  • Friendly and natural communicator, bubbly and bright.
  • High standards for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Be able to run the session smoothly, giving everyone the best possible experience
  • Be available to run sessions from 8.30am in various locations across the Tweed Coast
  • Be confident to lead a group adults, babies or toddlers with singing, dancing and using instruments -  supported by some recorded music
  • Qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care or ‘actively working towards’ would be an advantage BUT not essential
  • Hold a Working with Children’s Check
  • Previous experience in a similar role/industry (childcare centre – entertainer – musical theatre ) would be an advantage
  • Hold a current first aid accreditation and CPR (or be able to attain it)
  • Hold a valid drivers license
This is a casual role with potential to become permanent– flexible working hours, across various locations on the Tweed.  Starting as an assistant, undertaking full training and shadowing the role.  Upon a successful trial period, commence as one of the team to deliver our program. 

This role is mornings with some exception. Travel and some cleaning is required.
