WELCOME
Hi, I’m Jess, an early childhood teacher, mum of three and the founder of Bop It Tots.
Before talking about anything else, I need to start with my OG families who supported Bop It Tots from the very beginning. The ones who came along to those little classes in community halls back in 2019, encouraged me when I doubted myself and reminded me there was something really special growing here.
I truly don’t think I would have kept going without that support and belief in those early days.
My Journey started whilst on maternity leave with my little boy, which honestly feels crazy to look back on now. I’m still not quite sure how I managed it, but I just knew there was something missing for families here on the Tweed.
At the time, I had every intention of returning to my teaching position, but I kept feeling pulled to give this little idea a go and so I decided to step outside my comfort zone, be brave and back myself.
What started as a few very casual community classes quickly became something families connected deeply with. Then after 18 months … COVID hit.
Like many small businesses at the time, there was so much uncertainty. Between homeschooling, navigating lockdowns and trying to build a brand during such an unpredictable time, I came incredibly close to giving it all up.
But when life resumed, I knew families, myself included, needed connection more than ever.
So I kept showing up, covid masks on singing away!!
From there… things really began to grow.

What started as one person running small local classes has grown into an award-winning business supporting families and Early Learning Centres across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
Soon came library events, shopping centre activations, community partnerships and Early Learning Centres reaching out wanting me to bring my program into their services. Before long, there was a whole team of us delivering sessions across the region.
What I feel most deeply about this business is creating those moments where parents can take a breath, feel completely at ease, have a chat and feel zero pressure to be anything other than exactly where they are at. It’s the educators who truly align with what we’re trying to achieve and feel the same joy and connection we do when running our programs. It’s the directors who book us because another centre recommended us, and the messages from families saying their little one had the “best day ever” because of a Bop It Tots session.
These moments never get old, they’re still the reason I love what I do so much.

Meet the Team

Miss Amy
Amy is a mumma to one, with baby number two on the way!! She has been part of the Bop It Tots team for nearly 3 years.
One of Amy’s most special qualities is her incredible ability to remember every parent and child by name, instantly making families feel seen, welcomed and valued. She’s always the first to say “yes” to a new idea (especially when it comes to social media content!) and brings such a beautiful mix of kindness, empathy and calm energy to every session. It’s no surprise she’s absolutely loved by families, children and educators alike.

Miss Sharne
Sharne is a mum of three boys, with her youngest currently being two, and brings many years of experience in early childhood education to the Bop It Tots team.
Before joining us over a year ago, Sharne also ran her own family day care, which shines through in the nurturing and thoughtful way she works with children. Sharne has such a creative eye and is known for creating beautiful play setups and engaging learning spaces using our resources. Her calm, caring nature makes both children and educators instantly feel at ease.

Miss Millie
Millie is our little pocket rocket... spontaneous and full of energy, she brings so much fun and enthusiasm to every Bop It Tots session and it’s completely contagious.
Alongside Bop It Tots, Millie has worked within early childhood centres and is also a qualified beautician, bringing both creativity and confidence into everything she does.
Since joining the team in November 2025, Millie has become known for her playful energy, warm personality and ability to instantly connect with little ones.
Proudly Community Focused
Over the years, Bop It Tots has proudly partnered with libraries, community organisations, shopping centres and early learning centres to make music and movement accessible to local families.
From pop-up events to weekly centre programs, we love creating spaces where little ones can learn, connect and simply enjoy being children.

We'd Love To Connect
Whether you’re a family, centre or community space, we would love to hear from you.
